Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 Dates
The party runs August 7 through October 31, on select nights only. August 7 is the earliest start date ever, more than a week earlier than last year.
In August and September, party nights fall on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. September adds one Thursday on the 24th. October fills in most Thursdays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, plus Halloween night on Saturday, October 31.
Why does this matter to you? Because if you're planning a fall Walt Disney World trip and you want the party included, your travel dates need to line up with the party calendar. This is one of those details that's easy to overlook until it's too late.
When MNSSHP 2026 Tickets Go on Sale (And Why You Shouldn't Wait)
If you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can buy tickets starting May 5. Everyone else gets access on May 12.
Prices range from $119 to $229 USD per person depending on the date. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members save $10 on select nights.
October dates, especially Halloween night and the Fridays and Saturdays closest to it, go fast. If those are on your family's wish list, May 12 is not the day to be casually browsing. You want a plan before tickets even go on sale.
What's Happening at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026
The big crowd favorites are all back. Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade steps off at 8:15 PM with waltzing ghosts, Disney Villains, and Disney Princesses. Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular brings the Sanderson Sisters to Cinderella Castle alongside Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and The Evil Queen. Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fills the sky with fireworks while Jack Skellington narrates and Cinderella Castle transforms.
New this year: Stitch is hosting an ever-changing dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland with Lilo and Angel. Every accessory he pulls from Lilo's Costume Trunk flips the theme, so the party genuinely stays unpredictable all night. My families with little Stitch fans are going to love this one.
Disney Villains will also be roaming the streets this year, which is new for 2026.And trick-or-treating covers a dozen-plus stops throughout the park, with every guest getting a complimentary treat bag. Allergy-friendly candy is available at dedicated centres too.
Is MNSSHP Worth It for Families? One Thing Most People Don't Realize
Yes, and here's the detail that changes the math for most families.
Your party ticket gets you into Magic Kingdom at 4:00 PM, three hours before the event officially starts, and you don't need a separate day ticket on top of it.
That early entry window is a big deal. Rides are way more manageable in those first few hours before the party crowd arrives. It's one of the things I always walk my clients through when we're building out their day-by-day plan, because it makes the whole evening feel a lot less rushed for families with younger kids.
